Established in 1891 during the British colonial era, this bungalow originally served as the residence for British tea estate managers and has even hosted the Viceroy of India . Historical Significance

The Baradighi Tea Estate was incorporated as Rydak Tea Syndicate Limited on February 24, 1898, under the Indian Companies Act. In 1979, it was registered as Rydak Syndicate Limited. The estate encompasses approximately 500 acres of tea gardens bordering the Gorumara National Park . In 2019, recognizing its historical and architectural value, the grand superintendent's bungalow was converted into a hotel, opening its doors to tourism .
